FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY

The Friends of the Franklin Public Library are enthusiastic supporters of the library's services, programs and materials. The Friends help the library by raising funds for various programs and materials, raise community awareness and appreciation of the library and support the library's goals and services.

What do the Friends do?

Book Discussion Group
Purchase other books, audio tapes and other resources
Staff the Used Book Sale
Help with the Library's litter pickup as part of the PennDOT's Adopt-a-Highway Program
Volunteer in the library
Landscaping and gardening
Special programs for children, teens and adults
Promote community awareness of the services and programs at the library

Meetings

The Friends meet at noon on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Meeting Room on the second floor of the library. Election of officers is held at the December meeting.
