Thunder Teen Gaming
Thunder is a weekly dinner and gaming group for teens in 6th through 12th grades. We meet every Thursday from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. This month Thunder only meets on May 2 and May 9 (because the Spring 2013 Semi-Annual Used Book Sale will take over the meeting room). Join us for Wii games, board games, and a home cooked dinner. Limited to the first 15 kids who sign in each week, so don’t be late!
The Grant
In the summer of 2010, the Franklin Public Library received a grant from the Venango Human Services Fund of the Venango Area Community Foundation. This grant is what made it possible for us to begin our gaming programs. The grant money was used to purchase two Wii gaming systems, two 46″ plasma televisions, games and accessories.
