Book Clubs

February 2017

All book clubs are free and open to any adult. The Bookmarkers Book Club regularly meets on the second Tuesday of each month, and the Monday Evening Book Club regularly meets on the last Monday of the month.

A limited number of copies of each book are available at the Circulation Desk for book club participants on a first-come, first-served basis. All the book links on this page take you to LibraryThing.com, where you can read about the book, browse reviews, and find links to the e-book on Amazon, Kindle, etc.

Bookmarkers Book Club meets on Tuesday, February 14 from 12 Noon to 1:15 PM to discuss Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver. The selection for March is Boys In the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold In the 1936 Berlin Olympics by Daniel Brown.

The Monday Evening Book Club meets from 6:45 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 27 to discuss The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly by Sun-Mi Hwant. The selection for March is The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonassen.
