All book clubs are free and open to any adult. You may pick and choose which books and meetings you attend, read what you like and come when you can! The Bookmarkers Book Club regularly meets on the second Tuesday of each month and the Thursday Evening Book Club meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month.
A limited number of copies of each book are available at the Circulation Desk for book club participants. All the book links on this page take you to goodreads.com for summaries and reviews of each title.
Bookmarkers Book Club will meet on Tuesday, February 13th, from noon to 1:15 pm to discuss The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead. The Selection for March will be A Schoolteacher in Old Alaska by Jane Jacobs.
The Evening Book Club will meet on Thursday, February 15th, from 6:45 pm to 8 pm to discuss Stones From the River by Ursula Hegi. The selection for March will be A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith.
