Happy Earth Day!

earthToday is Earth Day!

Earth Day was founded in 1970 by Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson.  Senator Nelson’s wish to raise awareness of environmental issues worked, and this year is the 40th Annual Earth Day.

Read more about Earth Day at the Environmental Protections Agency’s site here, or at the Earth Day Network’s site here (where you can also find a global list of Earth Day Events).
